I don't usually gravitate toward bright red or yellow but this dahlia has captured my attention for years, with it's delicate contrasting edging and exquisite detail! You know this is a strong flower when I can't live without it, even though red and yellow are not my colors!

Belgian hybridizer Jozef Weyts has been growing dahlias since first buying a home in 1979. In the 1990's he started saving seeds and breeding his own varieties. He befriended a Dutch dahlia grower and sought out friendships with dahlia lovers all over the world, and his varieties are now grown and shown far and wide!
